Mirabo Press is a fine art printmaking studio in Buffalo, New York. We produce limited edition prints, host artist residencies, offer public and private workshops, and collaborate with artists and cultural institutions locally, nationally, and internationally to create and exhibit new print-based work.
For centuries, printmaking studios have provided artists with the space, tools, and expertise of master printers to develop and refine ideas with ink on paper. Mirabo proudly carries forward this tradition with a contemporary perspective, cultivating a vibrant and supportive ecosystem of individual and institutional collaborators.
In any given week, we might partner with established institutions while welcoming emerging artists, collaborate with local schools and regional galleries, plan hybrid projects with collectives in other artistic disciplines, and print with artists from just around the corner or across the country.
Founded by Bob Fleming, Rachel Shelton, and Mizin Shin, our studio is fully equipped for professional level intaglio, monotype, relief, digital, and screenprinting. We offer workshops designed to provide genuine individual attention and open our doors to anyone curious about this democratic and historically transformative medium.
Our network of friends, patrons, and institutional partners allows us to find creative, collectively beneficial ways to bring a wide range of print projects to life, no matter where an artist may be in their career.
